Bea Soong was born and raised in New York City. She is a graduate of the Nightingale Bamford School and earned a B.F.A. in Film and Television from New York University’s School of the Arts. After graduating she found herself not behind the camera, but in front of it and on the boards in Off and Off Off Broadway theater. A move to Los Angeles landed her a career in television commercials. Her clients have included GE, Glaxo Smith Kline, Intel, Lilly, Merck, Prudential, Verizon and Visa. Now based back in New York, Bea continues to act and has returned to her filmmaking roots. She is known for directing the short films “The Wives Of Henry Yuk" and “Tu-Na House” for which she received Cine Golden Eagle Awards and "Cantonese Style!" |
